In 1990, with the company growing rapidly, we built the 30,000 square foot, state of the art facility that we continue to work from. Using the latest technology and the most modern equipment, such as X-Ray Fluorescent Technology, gives us the opportunity to not only serve our customer with excellent quality, but also make it affordable.
Technical Plating Inc has the flexibility to give attention to small and large production jobs and is equipped to handle extremely high production runs. We specialize in finishes that include, but are not limited to: barrel and rack tin plating, barrel and rack tin/lead plating, hot tin and tin/lead dip, copper, electroless nickel, reel to reel plating, and passivation.
We can meet our customer needs and requirement by exploring for new ways to improve our methods and services with the most effective, up to date, environmentally friendly products, and chemistries.

We specialize in applying tin, tin-lead and electroless nickel coatings on parts servicing electronics, medical and general manufacturing industries. Our skill is plating small parts in large volumes.

We are a family owned and operated company that has been in business for over 40 years. Jim and Leanne Thomas started the company in 1975 in a small shop located in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. Jim, Leanne and their four children helped during this time to get the company off the ground. Bryan Thomas and his son Tyler now run the company, maintaining the high quality production that we're known for.
